My GRAILs have landed!!

I'm such a sucker for the SH series, and that SHBM is a beauty! Oh, and I love the 1911's, too! That one is particularly sweet for its history. Nice scores!

Thanks for all the great comments!!

Here is a pic of Dad and me from Christmas.

He is getting up there in years, and has had his issues with his health but he seems to keep bouncing back!!

I treasure every moment with him and hope he sticks around long enough to meet his grandkids.

What an amazing pair of grails, brother. You're a lucky man to have those two...especially that burner. Hopefully you will some day be able to pass them on to your own son.

He was SP, not an MP if he was Air Force. Also, don't leave Dad unarmed, get him a tip up barreled Beretta, or load that 1911 up and leave that gun C&L for him. It won't hurt the gun, and may help him.

Congratulations on your knife.
I am very impressed though with that 1911, my Lord is it wonderful and what a great story with it to boot!
Awesome!

Wouldn't think of it. :D

He still packs his .380 Colt and has the most coveted Winchester .32 rifle in the bedroom!! He wont turn loose of that baby no matter how much I beg. That Winchester and his 72 Camaro are his most prized posessions.

THats what its all about...........

Enjoy your Dad:thumbup:
