Thanks for sharing your story. I own custom slipjoints from most all the big names, but my deceased dad's Case is by far the most valuable. Sometimes I carry it around the house, but would never risk loosing it. Enjoy your heirloom carefully, oil it up but respect Grandpa's patina.
