For the past couple of years I have been using a craftsman 2x42 belt sander. I ground my first blades on it, and now the spring arm that keeps the tension on the belt has broken itself.!!! AAGGHHH!! Luckliy I just bought an old but good square wheel, now I have to get used to that, it runs much faster than my craftsman. I hope I can fix it.

Sears has an online parts web page I will bet you can find exactly what you need there.
You will need the model number for the machine. Sorry I don't have the link handy but it does exist.
Good luck, I will post the link if I can find it.

Looks like a good time to turn that thing into a 72 inch grinder to me...Heck you will have to fix the arm anyway or just buy another arm....
