Whiskies:D:D:D

My customized MR likes this kind of company in the evenings.

This collection seems to grow much faster than my Busse's:eek: (not in the pic are two very small bottles of Ardbeg 10yo and Talisker 10yo because I emptied them a few days ago)

The Whisky to Busse ratio is now 7:3 (soon will be 7:4) when the magnificent FBMLE arrives!!! But maybe some Pig's Nose curiosity will change that:):):)

So which ones do you like best? I need to make a scotch run today and I'd like to try something new. I do like the Talisker.

Give the Lagavulin 16 a try if you like very peaty and smokey scotch, it's excellent. Interestingly enough it's actually cheaper than the Lagavulin 12. I'm not quite sure why......

I think the 12 year is more expensive because it's "cask strength" 116 proof, and much rarer than the 16 year.

Thanks,

I keep hearing about Lagavulin, I hope I can find it.

Great looking knife.

I wish Jerry had made a Hell (Mud) Razor LE with no grooves.

With magnum handles, it may have been the perfect knife.

It would be a tie between the Talisker 10yo and the Laphroaig 10yo.

The Talisker 18yo has the best nose of them all but the taste is very punchy (a little bit too hot in the aftertaste I think but it's a rather new bottle so my opinion my vary overtime:D).

The Lagavulin 12yo is a new bottle. It's cask strength and I haven't found out how much water to add for optimum taste. It's nice though. This one is less common so that and the cask strength makes it more expensive than the 16yo, like Matteo said!

The Highland Park is very well balanced. Can't go wrong with that one.

The MudRazor's handles are perfect for me:D:D:D

Looks to me like Mr. Crafft is maturing nicely, himself.

Give the Bowmore a try -- there are a number of different versions. You'd perhaps like Bowmore Darkest the best -- but it can be a bit tough to find.

Just keep tryin' new ones. It's all good!

P.S. Admiring that HP 25! Haven't seen it locally (No. Va.). I'm also reminded that I'm now out of Lagavulin...

After dinner I went out for a Scotch hunt but everything was closed:grumpy:.

Did you try Hunters Point, I hear its a great part of town.

Gimmejr,

San Francisco is a fairly big city so it would be stupid to think that it doesn’t have any areas that are not economically depressed. Fortunately, I don’t live in one of those areas nor do I need to pass through them often.

Anyway, I’m as happy as a pig in sh!t where I live:thumbup:  .

Well hell.... in general I’m just a happy guy and not much is going to change that. I tell all my friends that if they don't like it here then by all means they should get their butts out of here. There are enough people that want to live here for some dam reason. California has something like 36,000,000 people now:eek:!

Every year I donate money to improve the roads to Oregon and Idaho.;)
