Well I needed a way to carry my guns around without causing a lot of alarm, so I made this case! it's not perfect, so don't judge me :( it's about 99% done so I still need to glue down the edges and fix the strap that holds the case half open, but it's functional now! anyways: PICS!

guitar case, spray foam, green fabric, and beckers of course!!

So yeah, It aint pretty, but it does the job.

that's awesome :)

i have my neighbors if i have fishing poles or something :)

Looks good. Now I'm eyeing the guy with the guitar case in front of me and wondering what he's got.

Mauser and a .44? That's some high power fun.

Damn good job Cap'n. That's freakin cool, really.

From my experiences of watching old gangster movies I'm almost certain you're only supposed to carry Tommy guns like that :P

I think a lever/revolver combo in .44 or .357 would be awesome. A soft guitar case that is a rectangle would be low key. Just wait until someone asks you to see it or play them a song.

Very nice, Cap'n. Now slap some peace-sign stickers on there or somethin'! :D

That's freakin cool!! I agree, throw some stickers on there and it will blend right in!

Love the Mosin, have one just like it, puts out a nice fireball.

looks like I have to see this movie y'all are talking about.

The movie sucks, but it has a few good scenes. Someone has a guitar case filled with high powered weapons with a fake guitar cover. I've used instrument cases, violin cases, and guitar cases to transport firearms before. They are really not intended to transport a lot of weight. Your setup should work fairly well just for carrying it back and forth to the car in front of the neighbors (brilliant idea, BTW). Just don't plan on adding more than a very minimal amount of ammo to that case. The weak point will probably be the carry handle, although you probably don't need to reinforce it unless you plan on carrying it for a mile or so. That foam will help a lot. Nice work.
