My hands are a mess!!

Glad to see this thread. I work in the hospital and my hands do not look clean to a patient when they are all black, so some of the above solutions might help.
Cheers Ron

Mungo Park, since you work in the hospital, see if you can snag a couple of the little disposable hand/nail brushes they use in surgical scrub...they're excellent.
Alternatively, I bought a couple recently from LeeValley Tools for $1.50 a pop. Hadn't seen them in years.

Reminds me of when my sister was born, my Mom had been shucking walnuts all day and she decided to have a baby that night, after she had delivered, the nurse came in and went to hand the new baby to my Mom, as she reached for my new sister the nurse looked at my Moms hands in horror and snatched the baby back and said "You're not holding this baby with THOSE dirty hands!" They were stained bad from those walnuts.

My hands were like that from work so I started using Bag Balm. Every night before bed, if you can handle wearing gloves to bed, put it all over your hands then put on a pair of latex surgical gloves or it makes a big mess, sleep with them on and after a few days you see a huge difference. For awhile, I was using it inside my leather gloves while working. Go here:http://www.bagbalm.com/

Believe him guys. The Bag Balm helps. I apply it once or twice during the day at work. I try to wait about 5 minutes before wiping the excess off of the palm side of my hands and fingers. Leave the excess on the back sides and it'll soak in within a half hour or so.

So what if you smell like a cow -- it works. ;)
