Spent last weekend with Mark Williams tweaking my head....The hawk head that is. Refined my driftin. Tweaked the profiles and played with the forging. Was a great relaxing weekend with a lot of learning shoved into a short time. I did the heat treat and finish when I got home. Don't be surprised to see more of these in the future.
Thanks again Mark and Deb for a wonderful weekend. Looking forward to the next one.

The hawk looks great:thumbup: I bought one of Bruce Evans videos(good stuff:thumbup: ) and will try to bang one out some day.

Enjoyed it myself Larry.

It felt good to swing a hammer. But I still look forward to getting the power hammer going :)

Come back any time and thanks for the veggies :D

Tell Pam we said Hi.

Larry, Hawks are a whole different ball game. Glad Mark was able to help you out. This one really turned out nice. I haven't made one in about a year now. Once that bug bits its hard to shake but its been pretty reluctant so far.

you gave them veggies and not share with us? GRRRRRR!!!!! wheres my veggies????? i hope i can find someone in my area to show me the ropes when i begin to get the bug.

Lookin' good Larry! You'll have to bring that one to the next meeting so I can check it out!
