My heavily modified Becker Crewman (Pic Heavy!)

You did an amazing job on that. What other goodies you got stashed away? And as far as additional BK10's, getting your beckerhead number would help you to secure one when they do come out. The guys in the know have been saying for awhile how we will be getting first crack at 'em.

I think that looks AWESOME !!! Love the choil. Curious as to why you would not want it on the next one you get ?

Thanks so much for the compliments guys.

How do I go about getting my Beckerhead number?

Oh, I wouldn't put a choil on the next one just because it makes it more difficult to fit the knife into a sheath, especially a kydex sheath.

That is a fine, fine mod. I put that one up there with soup_monger's stuff. Just excellent.

Thanks guys and thanks for the Beckerhead link.
Now I just have to keep posting stuff around here and hopefully I'll be in soon!
I have to dig out my old BK9 that I modded a long time ago. It was a pre-cursor to this Crewman. I use it now as a beat around knife.

There was post somewhere around here, maybe even a whole thread talking about that. About how BH's would get the first shot at the reproduction BK10's. Anyone have the link?

I definitely want another Crewman. Got my fingers crossed that it happens and that I get to be a Beckerhead in time.

I think if I get another one I'll do it up in olive drab G-10, blue it and make a sheath for it.

The crewman is on my long list of knives to get. Great job on the mods! Wish I had that kind of skill.

very nice mod :) parkerized too. Ethan would probably approve. he likes that stuff. too expensive for production blades, but a great process. nickel-phosphate finish on my oldest Machax user, and it's held up quite well.

My Crewman was originally just stripped with no finish but I went to Florida a couple years ago to see my father and he has a sandblasting cabinet and all the Parkerizing solution so we did it.
My dad actually blasted & Parkerized all 3 of his Beckers.
I like it. As the finish wears away you can just touch it up with cold blue.
