Two weeks ago I did not own a Hinderer knife. I now have two XM18 3.5"ers.
Two weeks ago I traded for the Wharnie, It came with custom Green Micarta scales and the standard factory Hardware. I traded the micarta scale for the Orange Frag one below and ordered all factory bronze hardware. I am still waiting for the bronze handle screws, they will be here Monday. A friend gave me a new Brown factory scale as well. I will put it on the wharnie from time to time. Just digging the orange right now.
I bought the Blue Bowie, as new, from a forum member.
For me, the wharnie grind is the most useful blade. It is perfect for my daily tasks of opening boxes and envelopes, which I do a fair amount of in my business daily. The Bowie might be the coolest grind. I really like it. The Wharnie is cool too, but the Bowie is super cool. For you Hinderer fans who have held off on the Bowie, go for it, you won't regret it. Almost as useful as the wharnie as well.
