I've got one straight-spined RT that I did myself. It looks kinda like your half-stripped RT. But instead of stripping it, I ground the spine straight and reground the primaries so that it's really nice and thin behind the edge, and then reset the secondary bevel. It still has the coating around the handle like yours.

The drops, I was lucky enough to get a couple from the CS, and I ordered them satin. They come in a little thinner straight from the shop that way, and i had hopes they'd be thin enough behind the edge. After they arrived, I wanted them thinned out some more, so I reground the primaries on them also. I lost the logo, but gained an awesome slicer.

Here's a couple of quick pics I snapped. You can see that the drop point gets more use, taking some patina and getting scratched up.

The Dog would be used strictly for turning dead animals into food. It would stay in the pack until it is needed.

The Rat would be used for most other knife stuff. Probably kept easily accessible on the outside of the pack.

The Hog would be for protection and other duties that a chopper would be called on for. Since we are talking a SHTF scenario being able to access a main weapon would be important so it would be on my belt or maybe on the side of my pack where I can reach it in a hurry without actually taking my pack off. I considered the AK and the BB13 for this spot but the Huck is more compact yet would chop better than the AK, and it just feels like it would be a better weapon than the 13.

Dang all beautiful combos. Wish I had one of those NMFBM. For now, SYKCO 1111 (friggin love this chopper), TGM (only because I don't have a TGLB), and SAR 3 on my belt where it currently always is. I cannot explain how much I love that 1111. It is a fantastic chopper.
 
I will have to wait to post my ULTIMATE RATHOGDOG loadout because my BOB is in my pickemuptruck that my son's using to move his apt.

So I thought I'd go with some different riffs on some things already posted up/mentioned for your viewing pleasure! ;)

Only the 13 has seen any substantial duty. I've buried the spike of the KDSH in an old landscaping timber. The NMSFNO Bowie variant is one of my prized possessions sold to me by a faithful HOG...you know who you are! THANKS!!! Still trying to decide how I want to honor his graciousness with the blade-- beat on her:eek: or fondle her:)?

Thanks, me too brother...she's special to me in a number of ways...

I live by "Never say never"...

But I'll NEVER part with that one...as I said my biggest dilemma with her is: TO BEat or NOT TO BEat-- that is the question.

The G1 Howler is a amazing knife!! It's lightweight and tough as nails. I have 2 just Incase I lose one. Lol. That's how sweet they are.
