Hello everybody! I set this knife aside for a bit and let things work out themselves.
The status is as follows:
I've build and tapered the frame.
Made the slot for the guard and now I need to shape it.
Started working on the hamon.

It's quite hard to take a proper picture of it, none of them do justice to the real thing.
