My humble Dozier collection

For those who have both, which do you prefer between the Arkansas Traveler and the Delta Traveler? Can you try to give some idea of the difference in feel? Purpose?

I almost bought an Arkansas Traveler at Blade, but was afraid it was just a bit small since I already have one of his Gentleman's knives. I decided to get it it anyway, but when I went back, they were sold out! His knives all feel so good, it really makes it hard to choose!
The DT is a great size with a somewhat larger handle. He also has a drop point K11 that is a lot like the DT, with a bigger handle. All good. Choices, choices! I think you should buy all three and write a review for us! :D

I just got this one. My first Dozier. My god can this man make a knife. To say he is a master is an understatement. And on his non-nonsense construction there's no hiding flaws or sloppy workmanship. I love this knife!
Every Dozier I own has no discernable flaws to the naked eye. The quality is just unreal. These knives are a steal at twice the price.

A few of my Doziers, Past and Present.
All perfect and if you beat em, Bob will fix em!

Nice collection. Alicia from Dozier just called me yesterday and told me my K28 is finished. Jigged redbone handles on that sucker is going to be sweet. They shipped it yesterday so I should be getting my first Dozier in a couple days.:D

Prepare yourself! Some knives are just beautiful. A Dozier is beautiful in use!
You will want more! One is never enough!
Welcome to the addiction!

:D

heres my doziers........................homer_doh.png iforgot i ain't got any.......:D nice collections guys

Great thread!

Bob's knives are about as close to perfection as you can get in a handmade knife. Everyone knows how great his steel and designs are, but the fit and finish is another thing that makes his knives so great.

I picked up the Pro Guide and Straight Personnal at Blade, and have since picked up the Arkansas Traveler, and Buffalo River Hunter.

Thanks for the great pix. I was just at Dozier's website the other night and these are much more helpful.

Doziers??? Yeah, I like 'em!! Tried to take a group shot, but it's not working out too well inside, so I'll have to try again outside for a better pic in natural lighting, maybe tomorrow. Got 2 KM-21 "Parking lot" knives, a KM-6 Arkansas Toothpick, a KM-15 necker, a K-12 small game skinner, a big KM-19 Ranger with cool green linen handles... And this K-28 Personal that I just picked up at the BLADE show. :)
