My Izula based firekit

Hmmm sharpener options. It's not something I personally would put in a kit this tiny. But if I could find something small and light enough...why not?
...hmm I wonder if a nail file would work.

Nice! I so need to remember to pick up an inner tube at wally world. I want to do something like this with my Izula, plus I want to build a similar kit around my Fallkniven A-1 too.

I definitely think it is a great idea. I have been wanting to do something like this since I first saw Mac's (Pict's) neck knife set up a while back. John gave me an awesome little ceramic rod about two weeks ago that's only about 1/8 in diameter. It's sort of pinkish purple so easy to spot if I drop it in the woods. Would be great in a kit of this nature made with my Izula. I am going to do something similar to the A-1 mainly due to the sheath design and tension issues and thought since I was going to add the inner tube for that may as well add a couple more pieces and make a kit out of it. I am forever building little kits to fit specific situations, one like this kit you've done with the Izula definitely has a place in my gear.
