Not dis-ing the light thing and not that everyone carrys one especially in the field, but I found punching a button on my cell phone for light (using the screen.. Mines a blackberry with big screen) works as good as those small single lcd lights. Again, I understand a cell phone in the jungle of Peru may not be the best idea, just saying in my everyday urban/semi-rural life the light from a cell phone can help in a pinch.

True no disrepect taken, I have used my cell phone as well in a pinch too , but I like these little photon LED's and I buy 'em whenever I run across 'em and give 'em to family if needed.

I do not know the name of the sheath but JRE makes some great products.Talk to Dan and give him the link to this thread ,he is on BF ask him the name of the sheath ( BF name Storm72)
