My JK order came in today. My own design Camp knives in Zebra wood and Maroon Micarta liners, The sheath that John Made for the little coon Hunter, The new Purple Heartwood scales for the BR Highland, and the new Kydex sheath for the little Companion knife with the Lacewood scales. That little Companion knife was convexed by siguy and with the kydex sheath it is the perfect pocket fixed blade.

The camp knives are for all camping and cooking need except chopping and have five inch o1 blades in 3/32 steel, about one inch tall. I love these and will handle most all of my hunting and camp cooking needs.

That little Nessmuk just got sold, guess who bought it? ;) I really enjoy making the little ones that you can actually carry everyday.

Thanks guys. The Bark River had a stag grip that had a little crack in it. John said it was starting to rust under the grip. Love that Purple heartwood.

Yeah that little 1/16 thick Nessie had my name on it.:D

After the threAd about the leather/vs kydex sheaths, I got to say these new kydex sheaths that John is making are really tops. He really fits them right. I like both kinds, I kinda like kydex inserts for my leather sheaths.

Those long sandwich knives (I think that's what you called them) are really growing on me. It's such a practical design. Use them well.

I guess I got the Sandwich knife term from my son who is a Chef. A five inch knife in his set he calls a sandwich knife. However a real sandwich knife has a wavy edge to help spread butter or mayo. It is a very good handi size and can do everything short of chopping wood pretty well. John is going to add it to his line I believe.

I liked it so much that I did add it to my line. I call it Jim`s APCK (All Purpose Camp Knife) Not a chopper, but it will handle any other camp chores.
