My Ken Onion Chive thoughts...

Hey kbog,

I just tried that with my chive and it did the same thing. It would be interesting to see if that is part of the design. I also had to give more effort to disingage than when it locks on it's own.

I can see where that would be handy for more demanding use. I normally use a SOG Flash with a combo blade for the "dirty" jobs. I don't want to mess up the pretty rainbow finish on my chive. ;) (I know, it's a "chick" thing!)

I have used the little knife sometimes when it was easier to get to than the other one on dirty jobs such as in my garden, etc., and it takes a little bit of abuse very well.

Toodles,

I wondered if it was designed that way as well. Does seem like it would be great for hard use...

Hey Ken, where are ya?

If I were Ken Onion, I think that I would "go along" with this "feature" even if it was not an intended part of the design... ;) LOL
