Good lord if they are this worried about the "safety" on a pocket knife what are they like around a Glock or M&P that doesn't have a "safety" per-se?

I never used the safety. Lmao you guys worrying about things like speedsafe and assisted opening are funny. They just aren't built like that. I have to wonder what you'd be doing to make it pop open in your pocket, cause if I'm not mistaken even if you drag on the little thumb flip pulling your hand back out, the knife will be up against the back of your pocket and unable to open.

By far, the best advice in this thread. You got a knife you don't like in your pocket....don't put it in your pocket. Rumor has it you own a Cold Steel AK-47. Carry that.

I stopped carrying Kershaws with speedsafe for the same reasons, now I only carry manual folders.

i kinda wish they would make a chive without the assist. i have had a ss version for a few years. i work in an office and it is my edc. i carry it in my pocket with my keys and a few times have found it open. i love the finish, the frame lock and the back spacer.
