Ok, so here is the story of my Kershaw warranty experience. I had my Shallot for a while but I didn't really use it much. I loved it but I didn't get to use it really
o) and one day I was looking at it and flipping it open and I noticed it had some silver specks where the DLC was missing on the speedsafe scale. The blade also rubbed the sleedsafe scale and the edge was ground a little crooked (maybe I got a bad Shallot?). Anyway, I sent Kershaw an email asking if this stuff was covered under warranty. They said to send it in. So a few days later I sent it out and wrote in detail what was wrong with it. Fast forward 3 weeks, I got it back in the mail. I opened up the package and it was only sharpened and oiled up.
I emailed Kershaw back and got a speedy reply with them telling me to send it back. I sent it back and about a day or two after it arrived at the factory, I got a phone call, I talked to them about the problems and they said they would replace the whole knife for me
I ended up getting the new knife in the mail today (about a week from the phone call) and all I can say is, wow. It is problem free and perfect. It even flips open better then the other one. Thank you so much Kershaw
