Wait a minute... Do you have both a lab AND a chihuahua mix (two dogs?) Or do you have a chihuahua/lab mix? If the latter, then I can't be the only one with the obvious question.

Oh yeah...congrats on the kill!

My dog got hold of a skunk in our backyard, almost killed it, but not quite. She got sprayed bad, as did the side of our house and back deck. In case you were wondering, that shit doesn't just hose off the side of a house, and I don't have to tell you how bad it is on a dog. We tried every trick in the book. Coffee grinds, beer baths, tomatoe soup bathes, proffesional shampoos, human shampoos, anything you can think of, we tried it. You can still smell it a little bit when she gets wet.

It was kinda neat thinking about it though. She barks her head off at cats in the backyard/front yard/street in front of our house/anywhere she can see one from inside. I always figured if she actually caught up to one in the backyard she wouldn't know what to do with it, and would probably just bark at it. I can only assume now that if she got ahold of one she'd kill it, or try her best.

That's awesome - My lab doesn't catch anything but my parents lab regularly takes down rabbits. Well... lab/pit mix. Great dog!

that's a good kill - you should be a proud pappa!

Note just in from PETA.... OH THE HORROR!
Good hunting pooch. I had a cat here in the desert that would bring home everything. Snakes, lizards ,birds, squirrels, rabbits, including one Jackrabbit that outweighed her by several pounds. She was dragging it beside her like you see lions dragging wildebeest on those National Geographic shows.

Bucket of warm water
cup or two of peroxide
capful of liquid soap

careful around the eyes

works real well

I'm not surprised, look at the neck on that guy. I bet he whipped that squirrel back and forth really...really hard.

Hydrogen Peroxide...really works.
I once put so much tomato paste on YB that he looked like a carry-out dish from a pizzeria.

Awesome dude. My Chihuahua is purebred and Brindle. Hes taken out a squirrel once too. One of my two chihuahua's died a few days ago. :| Good lookin' dog you got there though Ivan. He Applehead or Deerhead?

That's Chihuahua is a beast! Look at those shoulders! I was thinking about how crazy a Lab Chihuahua mix would be. Haha, a Labhuahua.

When I was in my teens the old man got a Tibetan mastiff, he caught shrews, none of the dogs in the neighborhood were brave/dumb enough to get close enough for us to find out what he would'a done to them, they did bait him though. I was tempted a few times to let him off of his leash.

haha that's awesome, my chihuahua has never killed any small animals, but he only stands 5 inches at the shoulder and weighs in at a hefty 3.3 lbs. here is a shot of him viciously defending his Purina Tiny Bone dog treat... lol
