My buddy in the FEDEX truck came today, spreading Cutlery Christmas Joy!!!!!
My Kit Carson M4GT[Grooved Titanium] with cpm440V blade was in the zippered pouch. This knife is simply amazing. Kit only made 3. That is all that he will build. Blues got #1[drop pt]. Senator got #2[doulbe ground, spear pt]. And I got the best looking one<G>, #3, the Clip Pt.!!! Here's a pic from Senator's website....
Spec.'s on mine....
Blade 4" cpm440V,.145" think, high hollow ground w/satin ceramic bead-blast finish, .0250" at the edge.
Handles 5.35" 6AL4V Titanium, .0990" thick, grooved and satin ceramic bead- blasted, Ti back spacer. OAL thickness is .38"!!!
Weight I haven't been able to get to any postal scales yet, but the knife is less than 5 oz.'s!!! No kidding, a Carson M4 full size under 5 oz.'s.
This knife is incredible. Thanks Kit, you are a credit to your profession. Now I need to go kill more deer to skin with this thing!
Stay Sharp! and HAPPY HOLIDAY'S!!!
