My buddy in the FEDEX truck came today, spreading Cutlery Christmas Joy!!!!!

My Kit Carson M4GT[Grooved Titanium] with cpm440V blade was in the zippered pouch. This knife is simply amazing. Kit only made 3. That is all that he will build. Blues got #1[drop pt]. Senator got #2[doulbe ground, spear pt]. And I got the best looking one<G>, #3, the Clip Pt.!!! Here's a pic from Senator's website....

Spec.'s on mine....

Blade 4" cpm440V,.145" think, high hollow ground w/satin ceramic bead-blast finish, .0250" at the edge.

Handles 5.35" 6AL4V Titanium, .0990" thick, grooved and satin ceramic bead- blasted, Ti back spacer. OAL thickness is .38"!!!

Weight I haven't been able to get to any postal scales yet, but the knife is less than 5 oz.'s!!! No kidding, a Carson M4 full size under 5 oz.'s.

This knife is incredible. Thanks Kit, you are a credit to your profession. Now I need to go kill more deer to skin with this thing!

Stay Sharp! and HAPPY HOLIDAY'S!!!

Will, I will have to live vicariously for a few days.

Mine came today too, and if I'm good, the Mrs. will present it to me on X-mas.

Enjoy it.

Oh, forgot to mention, I got the good looking one.

Really nice knives guys, you are all lucky and should have a great Christmas.

To settle the argument, Blues' #1 is the best looking one in the batch. But the other two aren't exactly what I would call an Ugly Step-sister, either

St James, I respectfully dissagree, Senator got the best looking one, no Will did, no Blues did, AHHHH, Kit, where the heck is mine? You should be able to read my mind and send poor Rob one of these beautys!

Great job Kit, and they couldnt have gone to 3 better guys!

Aaaahhhhhhhhaaahhhhhh! You guys are killing me! Pant Pant.

Don't even ask me which one looks better. I kind of lean towards number 2 for looks but I would probably pick 1 or 3 for carry. They are all fantastic.

Wow! Awesome knives.

Why in the world would Kit limit his integral lock knives to 3? It makes no sense to me.

Other than that, just plain awesome! #3 is my fave

He should at least go up to #20

I like the middle one best!! Hey, can you guys post a picture of one of them closed?? Thanks!! Michael

Glad you guys like them. Those of you who know me know that I am a big fan of Kit's knives.

I love them all and would have been proud to own any of the three.

However, since I already had Carson clip, spear and tanto blades, I felt it was time to add a drop point to the collection. The fact that it came out so well only makes the decision seem wiser in retrospect.

I don't think it's necessary to vote for a favorite on this thread.

And since it's my friend Will's thread, I'd have to go along and say his is the nicest.

I think Will got the "best." Know what, though... I take any one of the three and be more than happy for Christmas and beyond.

Please, tell me it's a typo. PLEASE tell me you ACCIDENTALLY wrote that he's only made three and won't make any in the future.

Ahhh, the pain...

Jon

Joe - Kit said that he's limiting the large M4GT bolster lock to just these three. As for a smaller model...

I still like Will's (#3) with the CLIP point the best! I do prefer drop points as a general rule.
smile.gif
Though I wouldn't turn down the double grind EITHER!
smile.gif
CNC'ed knives don't appeal to me, but these are awesome!

Beautiful work at usual, Kit.
