Finally after two months of waiting my new KMG grinder has landed. It arrived this morning and my first impression is this piece of machinery is built
like a tank:thumbup: high quality, rock solid and very heavy :p I almost broke my back carrying it out of the box :D I'll setup it up in the coming days and hopefully I'll have it working in a week or two.

I'll post some more picks for updates and thanks Rob for building
this very fine equipment

Wow!! So tell us how you finally got it to the Philippines..? If I remember correctly, I shipped it to California...?

The box says "Atlas International"..is that a shipping company..?

I really need a good "export" shipping source.

That is a terrific looking motor!

hey man you wont be sorry i just bought one from rob about 2 weeks ago and i love mine. quiet, powerful, and sexy what more could you want out of a machine!

Congrats! Now do a little disassembly and put some nice rust preventative paint on it to pretty it up! Seriously, it kills me to see Rob build such a great machine, then see guys just let it rust. It's certainly built well enough that it would take years before the rust ate through anything, but I personally want to protect my investment. I think you're in a pretty high humidity environment so a little Rustoleum or Hammerite would go a long way.

Hi Rob! I really like your grinder. I think it is the best grinder out there in the market

Two months ago I have it shipped to my father inlaw in California. And from there it waited for a couple of more weeks, because it has to wait for the other knifemaking supplies I ordered before having it shipped here to Manila.
It left the United States 2nd week of December :)

I should be ordering mine in about two weeks. Trying to get the shop ready. I am definately going to have to address the rust issue. I have my shop set up in my garage and summer months are horrible. I have to put plenty of Top Coat on my tablesaw to combat the rust.

Yes Rob!,it's a shipping company based in Southern Cal. Your machine only cost me U$75 for shipping

But this shipper only caters to Filipinos who sends stuffs to their relatives
in the Philippines. We call it " Padala or Pasalubong "
