my knife center experience

at first i had trouble with knife center i ordered my knife tuseday and recived a email that said the knife i orderd was delayed and it said that on the web site which i swear it didnt any way on friday i called, saterday, sunday, but thats probally because it was on the weekend on monday the picked up and said that condor hadnt sent them any and have no idea when my knife would arrive. but on tusday they sent me an email that said it had been shiped and would arrive on the 7th so i have no idea what was going on. all in all i will probally order from knife center again because realizing that condor is a hit or miss quality controll there shipments come in when they come in so. so sorry for the first post with all the bad grammer and capitol letters im still learning ( im way new ) and most importantly SORRY KNIFE CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you picked up the phone and called them? You'd be surprised how many things can get answered with a phone call...I've had nothing but good dealings with them!

Actually chester i did call them this afternoon and recived a voice mail i Was just wondoring if any One could help me on this thread because IT Was about what my problem and even though Its an 2006 thread u and i are on it
 
KC has gone out of their way for me many times! No company can make every customer happy 100% of the time no matter what they do. I give them a big :thumbup:
 
It's been one business day. I'd probably just give them time to get back to you as they're the only ones who can actually give you information on your order.

Well, IT is Sunday...

Perhaps you should try calling again tomorrow during regular business hours.

I have always gotten excellent service from Knifecenter.
 
I buy from them all the time - and I pick up from their office instead of having them ship as I work about 30 minutes away from them.

They always have several people on duty every time I've been there and I have had no issues with them.

It's a legit outfit in my opinion.
 
Give them more than a day...especially on a Sunday.

I'd say proofreading for basic spelling and grammar would also be a safe bet next time.
 
The times I have called during normal working hours, someone has answered right away.

I haven't done much business with them recently, but I was always very satisfied when I did.
 
I've had issues with slow shipping with KC but they say up front that it will take 8 days to ship so I don't think much of it. Still, I don't see any reason why it should take 6-8 days to ship something (note that is just time to get it the mail) but the told me ahead of time and the item arrived when they said it would.
 
Could you possibly, butcher the English language a little more???

Anyways, any update on your package, or have you not called them again yet?
 
What's with the random capitalization?? That was the hardest post I ever read. I am not even sure why you gave them a thumbs down. You call on a Sunday and expect someone to pick-up?? I am confused!

First off this was my first buy from Knife Center. I just ordered a Condor Hivernant and received and email that said that it was a delayed item, which wasn't stated on the web site. The site says it will ship in one to two weeks. Is that typical? Because if it is, that’s along time for someone to ship something. And lastly, can anyone try to guess when they think I will get my knife? I really need it before next Sunday but it doesn’t sound like I will get it by then. I ordered it on Thursday got the email on Thursday telling me they would keep me posted haven’t and haven’t heard from them since. Checked to see if the knife was still out of stock or back ordered and it still doesn’t say anything on the website. So I have no idea what the problem could be and I am kind of pissed. So when do you all think I will get it?


I wall say that an out of stock item is common in any ordering site. To have the website have an out of stock disclaimer would mean that the website is tied to their inventory system. Not all online retailers have that and I imagine it's expensive. Why not cancel the order and order somewhere else if you need it quickly or maybe you should have ordered it sooner then later.

Is it just me or is there a pattern developing here? Every bad review I've read lately about top notch companies such as BladeHQ and now Knife Center has been by some illiterate that has unreasonable expectations??
 
Why give them a thumbs down before you could call them Monday ???

People run out of stock, and if they can't get it to you when you want it just order from someone else.

You may want to edit your title, as I can't see what they did wrong in this case.

KC is a good company.
 
sorry guys the spell check was in spanish because my sister used it for her spanish home work and it was hard to write the post very very sorry for all of you who had trouble reading this. they had a delay with the knife they fixed the problem should be here tommarow
 
again sorry for the grammer some of you guys sounded kinda pissed. I didnt mean to i didnt even notice till now. i didnt mean to spell that way my sister had the spanish spell check on because she was righting a paper in english but the words would change to spanish with the spell check. im sorry guys and ya over all ya knife center is good they fixed the problem and sent me my knife didnt mean to offend any one with my grammer or with the thread of KC. sorry.
