..you got your knives then it's OK.Malaysia and Indonesia(largest Muslim nation on earth-180million+pop) and Southern Philipines are a hotbed of Islamic extremism and AQ and other radical groups are present in force there.So it doesn't hurt to be careful.

US Customs seized a Boker Speedlock that I ordered from Germany about 5 years ago. The shop I bought it from was nice enough to send a replacement.

I had a similar note from the TSA attached to my checked luggage. Upon my personal inspection I discovered that my dive knife mysteriously didn't make it home (stolen during inspection - for my safety ). There will always be abuse.
