My knives G-Custom

I like your choice of handle materials, particularly those hardwoods...

Great work, you've got a very distinct style. I'd love to see some in person.

And as much as I despise hand sanding myself, I can't stand a machine finish... The hand finished ones look great and they really add a whole level of class to the blade.

Keep it up, I'd love to see more!

Jacob

Thank You Predator for Your nice words. Tauching i seeing knives in person is something more than watching photos, I agree....
So, I would like to present kitchen knife I've just made - Olea Santoku.
overall : 12 in / N690 steel / buffalo horn / cuprum / olive wood (...wchich I found on the holiday in Croatia while looking for the right plase to piss out, hehe)

Wow man i was really impresed by all those knives and espicially from the g10 handle one.
very nice work, keep on making those unique knives :)

Very nice stuff! I agree, your style is unique and they all look really good. Keep up the good work.

your work is very good! I wish I was that good when I had only made 30 or 40 knives. For some reason, I am much better at swords than knives (probably because everyone that wants a knife from me wants it to look like it was made by a blacksmith, while those who want swords want them to be as close to museum quality as possible).

I will tell you what everyone told me - you have to move to hand sanding the bevels of your knives to get the serious attention. One of my mentors in this field said it this way, "the thing that sets the dilettantes apart from the real players is finish."

I resisted somewhat, because it is a lot of work. But then, I was seduced by hamons, and that was the end of my resistance to finishing blades by hand.

great work. Hope you don't mind the unsolicited advice. I surely don't think I am better than you. Just sharing information that was given to me.

take care,

kc

Kevin, I appreciate Your advices, and I do know You have right. I realise that US-knifemakers take care to fully "by hand" work, in Poland we don't. But US is the homeland of knifemaking !
I am glad You share Your knowledge with me. ....but Siberius is sanding by hand :-)
Thank You for comments

Nice knives and sheaths, I do like some more than others.
I would suggest your considering tapering your tangs. IMO, that will take your knives to a higher level and slightly reduce weight and benefit in balancing.
