my knives in country

nice kit, marine! a tan/tiger hide SFNO, a kifaru marauder and a ruck kensei on the side would really tie it all together!

Nice gear!

It's nice to see the knives in service!

Thanks for the pics... and a special thank for your service!!!

Stay safe.

nice to know i'm not the only knifenut over here.
i always try to keep an eye out for blades out of the ordinary.

which ones do you usally carry outside the wire?

Cpl Tyler,

Thanks for sharing the kit pics and for being there. No such thing as too many knives, huh? My son's former unit just came out of country for the 4th time and is afloat again - apparently Anbar is a different place than when they took down Fallujah in 11-04. The Marines do it right! Stay safe and good hunting,

Bill

First off, Bill Norwood, if i remember correctly I know the story of your son, and I am deeply sorry for your loss, from everything I have heard he was an outstanding Marine and is missed. Semper Fi!

As far as teh ACOG is concerned, I love them, in my opinion battle sights dont get any better, and eotech or aimpoint is better if you want a dedicated close quarters sight, but I think overall the ACOG is just a better sight, I have made hits using the reticle UKD out to 800 on an M16. I own one for my own AR-15

The knives I carry out the wire are the Seb, DM and a leatherman.
Bill Norwood, Semper Fi

Thanks for the great pics and your service to this great country:thumbup:
