My large ESEE pouch

Horn Dog, I attached a mini Maxped Rolypoly to the strap by running the strap through the molle web and attaching the slikclip above the buckle. A 550 cord loop through the drain hole secures the bottom to the strap via a grimloc carabiner. I can carry a nalgene or two regular water bottles in there, or all sorts of other things. If I got friskey, I could attach something to the rear strap also and really expand the load, but it was designed to be a light/minimal gear bag. It excels at this with the rolypoly IMHO. BTW, Horn Dog are you associated with FLETC? Your photos brought back some memories! Take care.

Like most folks, I am contiunually trying to improve my gear and the way I carry it. Thanks for the ideas. Haha, no, I am one of the "locals" they were sent here to keep an eye on. Just kidding, I did some role playing for them many years ago. Naturally, I have known quite a few instructors and FLETC personnel over the years. We have several FLETC employees and retirees in our local gun club. They are a big part of the economy here. I'm glad they are here. Because of them, Sally's Cop Shop is here and I can get BDUs and custom made gear locally.

All the Federal LEOs that I know tell me that going through FLETC actually makes you dumber :D At least that's the inside joke ;)

That's because they kill too many brain cells drinking at Pam's LE bar.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is the purpose of these pouches? How do you carry them? To me, the #1 thing I carry on a hike is water. I know I will need some of that. Do you carry the pouch on a strap along with a canteen or water bottle carrier? Wear it on a belt? Just curious.

They are good looking pouches. I was just wondering if they would attach to my Maxpedition water bottle carrier to carry a few extra items.

That's my thoughts too but I'm wondering if this will fit on the side of my maxpedition 10x4 bottle holder. Use the molle attachments to mate the two up then you'd have a survival pack that's complete that in the summer is attached to the bottle holder and in the winter you can take off and throw in a day pack. I don't like or need daypacks in the summer. I carry it in the winter to store extra layers.

That's what I'm looking into. I have shoulder bags and packs for longer hikes but usually just grab my water bottle and whatever is in the pouch. An extra pouch would be handy.

I have a maxpedition water bottle holder; I'll put the ESEE pouches on it . as a referrence point for ya, large pouch on one side and the small on the other side

Very nice, TTD. I like all that gear you put inside.

I'm like one of the only ones who did not make a thread about it. I just bummped the 'native' thread. :p

I'm looking forward to seeing ESEE pouches in use with the Maxpedition water bottle carrier. mine is the 10" one. A guy over on the gear forum has his set up nicely with Maxpedition pouches.

No rush. Whenever you have some time to do it, I'll see your post. I understand the pouches are in short supply now anyway.

both the E&E Wallet & the E&E survival kit come with quality gear !

Hi Tony, Please tell me more about these pouches. Dimensions? What gear comes with them?
That's an interesting looking image you posted of one above. For size reference, which ESEE knife is that in the photo?
Inquiring minds want to know these things. Thanks. :)
