My Last Five...What to Carry??

Here are my last five. I just got the Para yesterday and I find it to be a WOW knife. I'm surprised actually because I didn't like the size and ergos of the Millie but there is something about this pattern!. Anyway, these are the last five Spydercos I've purchased in last several months.

From Top to Bottom:
Caly 3 G10/VG10
Native IV CF/VG10
Mini Manix G10/S30V
Para Military G10/S30V
Stretch II CF/ZDP189 G2 Modification

The Native and Caly 3 will compete for front pocket carry and the other three for time clipped in the back pocket. So if'n it was you're five what would you mix and match for two at a time carry? I'm interested to hear from the long time Spyderco aficionados’.

In reality, it would be the Stretch for me, the rest would either sit in a drawer, or never have been purchased. If I were to carry a second one out of that group it would probably be the Caly 3, on the off chance I'd need a serrated blade.

You will consider the others for a few days.... until you try the para, after which you won't carry anything else :)

OK, please explain what it is about this little knife you guy's like so much other than its got a short blade. It's appearance is not appealing to me. And I'm not in a city/state with harsh and restrictive rules about pocket knives so I'm not searching out smallish knives.

Anyway, the Para is in the back pocket and the Native is bouncing around with the car keys. I believe I love this Spydie thing!!

i believe it's a different look, custom maker design,and the g-10 scale..to me i'm Chris Reeve all the way,it's just a cool (hot) little knife, a must have even if you collect other knives..
 
The Leafstorm is the most comfortable little knife I have ever used. :thumbup:

If I get a chance to handle it I'll have a look. :)
Now the problem with living in a knife friendly place is Nobody except a guy in Freeport carries Spydercos and he didn't have one last week (stopped in to handle a Para, didn't have one of those either).

I did use my Para to cut up my pork roast for supper tonight. No challange there but nice to see what a superb slicer it is!! Fine Knife!!!
 
That's a sweet looking stretch! :thumbup: Carry it and use it. I love my stretch. Just got it a few weeks ago and plan on getting it into rotation soon. My para I don't use at work (although it's certainly tough enough) but carry when I go out. Nice collection you got going there Flatlander!

Thanks Piter. I'm sure Gary Grayley will like see all the positive comments. I should take some closeups of the edge work on that grind job. Very nice work.

On the what to carry question I'm really enamoured with my Para right now.
 
Carry the Para.

Sell the rest, and buy a fixed blade or save the money. ;)
 
I'd go with the Caly or Native in the front (not much help I know) and the throw the Stretch in the back pocket.

LOL, well I'm not really just interested to see what people like out of those knives. I've just recently caught this Spyder Flu (I don't know if you've heared of it. There is no vaccine currently. It seems the main symptoms are obsessive behavior related to a certain brand of knives and an Empty Wallet :p).

Anyway, I have a the Para, MiniManix and Native IV on me at the moment.
