My Last Five...What to Carry??

LOL, well I'm not really just interested to see what people like out of those knives. I've just recently caught this Spyder Flu (I don't know if you've heared of it. There is no vaccine currently. It seems the main symptoms are obsessive behavior related to a certain brand of knives and an Empty Wallet :p).

Anyway, I have a the Para, MiniManix and Native IV on me at the moment.

It probably has something to do with the pheromones we soak the knives in (part of the QC process), but don't tell. ;)

Great choices for today btw.

Those are some of my favorite Spyderco's as well.

What to carry?
Well, you've already carried 3, so I think the word "Rotation" is the answer:thumbup:

BTW- add a Millie and SageII and you'll be set....for a few more weeks at least:p

Where's the Military? :grumpy: :thumbdn:

I sold it. Here it is/was:

I don't know Josh...I just couldn't warm up to the Millie. It's just BIG and at the time I was promising myself I was NOT going to have a Spyderco unless I was going to carry it.

But I'm leaning toward getting the Ti Framelock. It's going to be one you have to have in your collection. Oh man did I just say Spyderco Collection.

That's funny, that Millie has history, I recognize the pattern.

That Millie actually belonged to JoshK.

I traded an Orange Millie to JoshK for that Millie. I then sold that Millie to Einsteinjon. Flatlander1963 then bought that Millie from Einsteinjon. True story.

Who has it now?

I got the Millie from Cole, so he must have gotten it from you?

Just teasing about the millie, you have a para which is close enough. :)

I'd carry the para in the front pocket and the stretch in the back. That'd be a great combo.

I indeed bought the knife from Einsteinjon. A fellow from Westchester NY with the alias of Melbourne has it now. He said he was going to use it around the yard. He'd end up next door to Plaxico if he carried into the City.

Edit: What would you use a Military for in terms of yardwork?? I had never thought of that as a justification for having it before!!

I have a trail leaving from my yard that I keep clear with my Millie.
You can grip way back on the very light handle and really get some blade speed.
With the speed combined with the FFG, it will go through briars/vines like its going through hot butter. Works better than any knife I've tried(fixed blade's included) for these task.

While I'm not a big fan of serrations, the Caly 3 is a great EDC choice. I have my PE one in my pocket right now. I rotate between the Bob T., Caly 3, and FRN Native. Kiwi comes along when I'm dressed formal.

I'm considering a Native CF to replace the FRN Native, but I really like the lightness of the FRN.
