OK party people, this is my last remaining Oleg Krymlin piece. She's 9"OAL W/4 1/2" CPM4V 3/32" thick blade. It is Cryogenically treated & Triple-Tempered!!! The top is not sharpened, just thinned for aesthetics. Oleg has some Youtube vids of his treated knives standing up to some incredible punishment and then still separating electrons from protons...or cutting paper real good still. Oleg is kind of a pain in the ass to deal with, and he's had several "customer service" type complaints over the years...but this Russian/American Bladesmith knows how to take high-tech steels and get the absolute most performance they're capable of from them. In addition, he combines interesting scale materials, Green Swirling Polyester in this case, and creates some very unique/compelling/high-performance knives at around $200-ish, depending on size, etc. This does come with a nice Kydex sheath by Oleg. And it's one of the few Kydex sheaths I actually like, because you can pull this knife in & out of its sheath all day long and it wont leave a scratch...that's important to me.
