The latest CS hawk is in the works. Time is getting very hard to come by due to work. It has taken me 3 weeks to get this far. I'm turning(filing) the poll into a pointed hexagon. I annealed the bit and will reharden when the metal work is finished. So far this is all in the rough state.

Looking good

Looks like you've given the top of the head a bit of a slope, I like it

Yet another amazing mod in progress, can't wait to see the finished masterpiece.

Best regards

Robin

 That file work under the head, by the haft, looks great! I've always been bothered by that section of the head but now I know what I'm going to do next go-around ha ha.

My secrets are out so Zombies beware. Actually the pics are just the rough out stage. The joint where the bit meets the eye will be thinned out and fluted similar to my Pollhawk. The rear portion of the eye section will also get the reduction treatment.
There will also be a pewter star in place of the screw hole.

Great work! If you dont mind me asking, how are you cutting the star burst on the screw hole?

Thanks!

All surfaces are hand filed including the star. The star is cut with needle files.

I have been modding two other hawks, one for my wife and one for my nephew. The Hex hawk is waiting patiently on the sidelines...for now.
