Thanks! What color are the scales on your new one? Is the Burgundy Micarta? Looks pretty sharp!
 
Eddie and Lora have GREAT customer service! My model XII should be here tomorrow. Can't say enough great things about them.
 
Awesome knives guys! I have a Wharncliffe and a 5-inch model IX.

Is that large finger choil moved up for a reason? like kitchen duty? :)

Oh and sometime in the coming weeks I will receive a very special knife from Eddie. Just think Blackjack Trailguide! :D (thats all I know bout' it! )

Exactly! I asked Eddie to drop the heel of the blade and make something that would be a camp kitchen knife as well as useful for general outdoors use. I can choke up on the blade and put my first two fingers up there using a "pinch" grip for better control when chopping up veggies and what not.
 
Those are great. I've got 3 of Eddie's knives and love them all. I have one of the red Micarta Model IX's and man is it useful. I've got a Model II that I'm just dying to use on a deer. (just need to get the deer to cooperate!)
