Ok so as simple as it looks believe me it took a lot of time with the mounting of the knives and getting things as good as I possibly could, the orange fixed blade is slanted because there is a hanging mount right behind it that prevented me from drilling the back hole where I wanted to so I had to go a bit higher. All together it took a good chunk of time both today and my last day off, but I think it was well worth it. Here are the pics.

Sorry the pics aren't the greatest It is pretty dark this evening and the point and shoot doesn't do so well in the dark. Someday I will get a decent dslr and take better ones. Also the flash picks up the fishing line that is mounting them but when you are actually standing in front of them you pretty much have to put your face on the glass to see it.

Lol harder than it looks to mount those suckers considering you have to flip the board while holding the knife in place to tie it down.

Very nice! Now when I break into your place, all the good stuff is hanging on the walls for me to see! :D

The Ducks Unlimited and First Production? I'm quite jealous.

Those displays look absolutely fantastic Brent, very cool. I would love to do something like that.

Convenient carry case, thanks for making it easy! All kidding aside, that is something to abe proud of for sure. Come on over and build me one or two now. I have pizza and cold beer. ;)
A few years back, someone posted a thread about going to the Kershaw factory (I think). Anyhoo, the was a picture of the cases in the lobby with all the Blurs, and Shallots, and Leeks, it was like a 6'x4' wall display with glass. It was amazing.

Who told you what I work for? Lol. Yeah it was a bit tedious but I got the shadow boxes at Michaels and they had them on sale for 40% off. I took the backs out and laid all the knives out how I wanted them on the back of the panel (keeping in mind they would be reversed when I put them on the other side). Then I traced the knives with a pencil and put a mark where on the knife I wanted to anchor it, then transferred those marks into where the knife would be and marked where to drill so the holes (even though they are tiny) would be hidden behind the knife. Then tied the knives on with 4 lb fishing line (that is the most difficult part).

And I might have an extra or two stocked away someplace to take out and play with when I feel the need :).

Luckily I am not married yet and my Girlfriend and I have separate places so I can decorate however I like :). She is pretty cool though, she likes the way they look and loves damascus lol. I am also slowly turning her into a knife nut, got her a cryo a while back and upgraded her to a knockout on valentines day at her request :D

Looks great! Sweet collection too, jealous you scored all of those. :)

Yeah it took the better part of a year of feverishly hunting for them anywhere I could think of, between that and some awesome and helpful members on here It worked out pretty well.

Looks good Brent nice job as well as a nice Skyline collection.

The first thought I had when I saw the picture of both displays on the wall was bachelor pad. lol
