Hi and Happy New Year to everyone! A couple months ago, I asked for advice on a little knife design- and here’s the result! Thank you everyone who shared their advice! Overall length is 6 inches. The steel is cable Damascus forged by a friend of mine (there are some slight inclusions but nothing large enough to get a fingernail into) I typically stick to “known” steels, but it seems to hold an edge well and is hair popping sharp. The handle is ebony with white G10 liners and carbon fiber pins- I love how the handle is so dark that the pins are barely visible. Please let me know what you guys think!

Nice job Nic. Next one think about not tooling over the curve/bend of the sheath. I try not to do this for two reasons. 1) its gonna distort your tooling a little. 2) With years of rough use it becomes a weak point in the leather. Liking the little knife a lot!

Huh, I never thought about tooling turning into a weak spot...thanks for the insight!!
Thanks Dave!

Beautiful knife. I like that pin contrast too. Subtle but still cool detail there.
