Here are a couple of my newest knives.

First, a Bill Simons Wharncliff Half Whittler in red bone and ATS-34 blades. Also, all stainless frame and pins.

Thanks for looking,

Jeff

Jeff,

Both of those look great. Better hide that saddle horn from Blues at the Blade Show!

Gus,

Thanks. If you will point out Blues at the Blade Show, I'll keep a sharp eye on him.

Keith,

The little wife is not bad. Since we've got to know Dan pretty well, she was able to order and receive the Saddlehorn without my knowledge. She did well.

congratulations really nice work!
first i've seen from Simons real nice
could you post his contact info i'm sure a few of us multi lovers would be interested in getting in touch with him.
Awhile back I spoke with Dan Burke about a piece or two,he was in the midst of finishing up a saddlehorn for a someones husband in time for christmas as a surprise
That must have been you!..a beauty indeed
ENJOY

RAN,

Thanks. Dan's a good guy. That Saddlehorn is my fourth knife from Dan, and there's two more on the way.

For Bill Simons:

This is my first knife from Bill. Bill will tell you up front that he builds working knives without the frills of other makers. He has a brochure that shows filework (filework is not for me, but some like it) and some in stainless damascus. He lists such knives as: Saddlehorn, stockman, sowbelly, canoe, and lockback. His normal steel is ATS-34, but aslo uses D2, 01, and 440C. If you get a chance, check him out at the Blade Show in Atlanta.

Jeff
