My latest purchase...I'd like some feedback

If only the buckle was one of those with a whistle built in, it would be perfect. This kind of rig is favoured in very cold climates because you don't have to mess around with your clothing to be able to use your knife. It does need both hands though, to sheath/unsheath, so not particularly "Tactical".
Maybe in the way it's oriented now but like I just posted if it were perpendicular to the cord it can be done one handed.

Cool rig! Thanks for sharing your pics...

I like the general design, but I dunno if I'd pay $100 for one--I'm too cheap, I reckon. It's given me some ideas though; maybe I'll make something similar for m'self... ;)

that is the mora triflex and it is a great knife for the money, i have pounded mine and never a chip, stands a lot of work before gets dull and gets back sharp very easily. in fact I am thinking about removing the handle and making of wood and antler, just for the looks because the original handle is great.

Love that knife, cant say anything wrong about it. what I still am looking for is why to pay USD 60 for the bushcraft survival version...I mean as far as I see it has almost the same sheath as the regular one....it is stainless ( well sandvik ok give you that) a firesteel ( make is 9 bucks more)....and then???

so your purchase seem more reasonable for me......I am not a over the shoulder knife sheath kind of guy but hell...it is a lot better than the buschcraft survival one..

Thats what I thought it was at first too, but its actually a little LED button flashlight. I'm gonna slowly add more stuff to it like a compass/thermometer, a whistle, and maybe even design a way to add a small fishing kit to it
What's the dangly thing? Compass?

IIRC, that's actually the Bushcraft Triflex, which goes for about $20-25 USD. I think it's a pretty well known fact around here that the Mora knives are damn good for the money.

Its cool, but id rather buy a few extra Moras or something than shell out the 100 bucks.
