A buddy of mine wanted a sheath for his camp knife.

Multiple carry options.
1. Over the shoulder with the frog and strap.
2. Remove the frog and tuck it in the belt
3. Multiple attachments on the back for belt, pack, saddle etc.
4. Loop straps through the x-loops on the back and carry in Dundee Rig fashion.

Here's the pics. Quintessentially Canadian with a Canadian knife and a beaver tail inlay in the frog.

That is one sharp piece of leatherwork. Great workmanship and well put together.

Not only am I a sucker for British Tan, but great design and execution!

Wow, Stuart more impressive work. When you are ready for more please pm me, I've got a piggyback setup I'd love to discuss ;)

That's awesome --- very impressive design, and obviously a load of work. Very nice!

Thanks alot everyone. There were several new things to me on this one. Strange angled pieces and my first attempt at inlay work.

The more I do these, the more I appreciate how good Paul Long's work is. (among others as well) Particularly the inlay work.

A superb rig. You have my accolades, sir. I really like the versatility this design offers.

I've been looking at sheaths for a long time. Lots of nice ones out there, but this one impresses me more than any I have seen in a LONG time. Ni:thumbup:ce work.

Great looking rig....question, on the back side, just above your sig...there a bar of leather going across...what is that?

Man. I like the heck out of this one. In fact, there's nothing about it I don't like.

James

Thanks very much. Those are very kind words.

It's a hole so a strap can run vertically through the lower "x" loop

Here's the companion sheath for the same buddy. It's for his first home made knife.
Beavertail inlay again.

Wow!!, Just.....WOW That is one the best sheaths I have seen by anyone. Oh, the little one too.

Paul

Do you have a website where I can view your work. Thanks

I do not at this time. This is a part time endeavour as my job and family occupy most of my time. I appreciate your interest.

Aw geez,... shucks..:p Thanks very much for that. Your work is such an inspiration to me. I am humbled by your comments and buoyed at the same time.
:D

Why did you do the belt loop bottom with those additional stitches - just for looks! Either way - it is HOT! I love it when they look BETTER than machine stitched - and then you get to tell people that you do it by hand and they say 'WHAT?!'

That is the best!
