This is my latest, I need to refinish/re-etch the fittings, compress,dye and wax the spacers.
The blade is 1095/nickel damascus, the fittings are antique wrought iron etched in ferric chloride, the handle is cocobolo. The fitup is a bit rough as I tried last sunday to get it ready for this weekend, but since it didn't sell I can take it apart and readjust the fit, fine tune the details

Just my .02 worth. I think the guard would look better if it was smaller. It kind of over powers that nice blade. Otherwise, nice job.

that seems to be the general consensus, i think i will make a new blade for that gaurd, scrap the pommel, and make an arc shaped quillion for this one
