The wood is desert ironwood but not burl like most think of for IW.

LOL Dave!!!!! I'll have to pass for two reasons. A riveted ironwood 110 is a holy grail knife for me and it took a long time to acquire it. Second, I've got 3 710's now so I'm pretty set I think.
