My M6 has no Logo on it

My new to me M6 has no Swamp Rat logo on it. Is there a reason, or is this common? The knife came to me practically brand new.

What you have there is a "sterile" blade. My understanding is that the US military prefers (might even require) no logo on the knives that soldier's use so many of the military runs are sterile.

Oh cool. That would be awesome if it was in the hands of some soldier.
 
I suspect that the M6s were offered both sterile and logo'd.
I assume whoever originally ordered yours ordered sterile.
 
Got a Resi handled Howler w/o logo..Eric surely has the answer for you. i looked at a lot of pics on here and the "no-logo" ones seem kinda rare. You may have something real special there. I cant say anything bout collector value..mine only got the beauty of worn off finishes and scars!
