My Magic Sirupati

Malay folk stories are full of things that go bump in the dark. I grew up listening to stories told by my Malay friends about toyols, penanggalan, pelisit and the dreaded pontianak.

Just behind my parent's house is a larged disused area that is overgrown by banana trees - some of you may recall the banana tree fire incident that I posted a while ago. They used to give me the creeps when I was much younger when I had to pass by them to get home late in the evening... I didnt dare look at the trees directly in case there really was an apparition there. I could have used that Sirupati then...

Then I got older (and got khuks) and its the trees that are afraid :D

It strikes without warning and is utterly without fear. It has cleverly disguised itself as a grey tabby cat. It answers to "Guinevere" and "Evil".;)
