I was talking with Ernie Grospitch a few weeks ago and we came up with this as my mark.

I am a huge fan of the old west that the reason for the wanted poster font!!

What do you all think!!

Looks good.

Why "Maker" - why not just "Ernie Swanson" or "Ernie Swanson Knives"?

When talking with Ernie Grospitch I first told him I was thinking about going with my name and then custom knives or something in that sort. he said going with maker is good and I am listening to him!!lol He has some good advice.

Also when I start the company it will have a different name so with this people will still know who is making the knives!

I think it looks good, but I like to have an idea about where to start looking for you if I want one of your knives. We put the city and the state in our logo along with our name and have sold knives because of it.

I did think of that but like I told Ernie, I do not plan on living here forever.
I would love to move out west maybe around washington. So we figured it would not be to good because if I move a few times the knives would have different places of origin.

It actually adds to the value of the blade depending on how famous you become! :p Loveless moved more than few times and his mark with the location helps collectors date the knife.

Will has a point Ernie . I have already got ernie to make my mark and it should be here any day but my next mark will be my name inside a logo . If your was ernie swanson wisconson usa . I have given alot of thought as to what Will and several others told me a week ago. kellyw

Love the wanted poster font. My favorite one has my name and USA under it. I'm proud to live in the good old USA.

I love the simplicity of it. Do you plan to etch or stamp onto the blade? I like the stamped look and am starting to wonder about getting one made up for myself....
