The rain has stopped but the overcast remains, so I thought I would take a few photos of the marigold bone rehandled Colonial that is in my pocket today.

These first two are indoor shots taken while it was still raining. Just experimenting with different lighting to highlight different aspects of the bone.

Now to the outdoor shots.

Very nice, Doug!

Not to sidetrack your thread, but what is your sharpening method of choice?

Question courtesy of how well you/your edge caught the light in these pictures. :)

Thanks. The edges on both blades were done when it was away at the bone doctor getting the marigold bone handles. He reprofiled the pen blade into a wharncliffe, and when he sent me pictures just before it was to be shipped I asked him to put a similar edge on the clip blade. I'm not sure what his method of choice is.

Doug in those pictures the bone really reminds me of the yellow bone on my GEC #76, I like it alot!

Whoever re-handled that did a superb job. That bone is an eye-catcher and gives the knife a lot of presence.

Regards, Will
