I have just finished two of my master hunter models. I have the "master hunter" with finger choil and my first "mini master hunter" with the same size blade just no finger choil. These are my favorite style of blade I make, great for utility or hunting, and they (the small one especially) make great EDC's. These blades are CPM154cm and have a Paul Bos Ht and are Rc60 for an ideal mix of edge retention and durability. The wood on the Master hunter is Zebra wood and the Mini has Lacewood handles.

Price: REVISED $85 EA, includes shipping in the US and paypal, I also accept personal check and Postal money order.

Specs:

Master Hunter

OAL:8 5/8"
at widest point: 1 3/8"
edge length: 3 5/8"
blade thickness: .135"
Blade: cpm154cm Paul Bos Ht Rc60
Sheath: 9oz leather

Mini Master Hunter

OAL: 7 5/8
At widest point: 1 3/8"
edge length: 3 1/4
blade thickness: .135"
blade: cpm154cn Paul Bos Ht Rc60

I will be suspending my leather sheaths for the time being. leather work is a craft that I have not mastered, and I feel that until I do master it I need it stick to kydex.

Thanks bushman, These cpm154 blades are my best yet. they have a good feel good fit and finish, and they are crazy sharp.

That mini is a sweet looking little knife. Well, they both are but that one really caught my eye. Keep up the good work.

Great work once again bro !!!

Regarding your leatherwork, I can remember one knife that you sold with a leather sheath and while it was not shaped like I would have chosen, the craftsmenship looked great !!!!!

thanks for the compliments guys, nothing encourages me more, as a new maker, than positive input. I know the pix are bad, I just got home from laying carpet all day at my church, and I have to leave for work in a few minutes. I am off at 10pm so I will try to have new pix up around 11 so everyone can see just nice the knives are.

pix deleted

Edit: original pix updated

BEAUTIFUL! (i know i already commented once in here, but i really like the wood grain pattern in this one)

Thanks, My Dad has already told me not to use it all because he wants his knife to have the same handle :) .

We finally had a nice clear day, so I updated the pix with pictures taken in natural light. I think natural light brings out the beauty of any knife.

I was informed to day that the wood I purchased was mislabeled. The handles on the mini master hunter are Lacewood not Padauk. Something I probably should have noticed myself , however life goes on. My fist clue should have been my dad saying "are you sure thats Pakauk, I would have guessed it was Lacewood". sorry for any confusion.

Man those are two good looking blades. Wish I had not just spent all my "play money" on some new bow equipment. Keep up the good work man. You would never know that you are a new blade maker.

Thanks, look me up if you need a good knife when you go hunting :)

I would like to get this stuff moving. This will be the one and only price drop. $90 EA includes, shipping, paypal and sheath/w teklok. . This is as low as I can go, I need to make another order from Crucible, apparently that takes money  . Thanks again for all the great feedback.

Thanks for looking, -Josiah
