My Maxx seems rather pale

artsig1,

Hell, UNC is where I plan on getting my Ph.D, but I have heard around NC that UNC is a hive of socalist. I'm irish-catholic and went to catholic school all my life. Hence, I'm a huge Notre Dame fan and since UNC stole ND's coach, I cheer for them. When Holtz left for USC, it broke my heart. Difference here is that, well, it WAS Lou Holtz and that he went to another SEC school. :(

Anyway, I still say it's Duke blue. Death bells toll at UNC both in basketball and football. Do they have a baseball team? ;)

BTW, MSU was in the NCAA tourney. Where was UNC? Oh, wait, thats right...AT HOME!
:D ;) :D

............thats the VICTORY bell, for next year of course. BTW, my first love in college atheletics has always been the Fighting Irish. I have been a Notre Dame fan since I can remember, and they are the ONLY team I would pull for over my 'Heels. Of course it would have to be synchronized swimming or something like it:D

But I can see that you ain't a hopeless case;) I mean a N.D. fan, you are going to UNC ( stay away from those liberal socialist, or show them your Cuda MAXX) AND you are a Cuda MAXX fan!:D :) :D

Hey, we can get along just fine!!!:D  :)

I hate to interupt this side thread, but I got a lighter blue one and like it, also. At first it was hard to close, but white lightnin seemed to help. Nice lines on this monster. The thumbstud seems almost recessed. Nothing to snag on when drawing. Have not tried windex treatment, yet. rdogout
ok, back to your sports talk. hope I.U. didn't shock you too bad. signed: Rob19 from Indy
( I'm brassin' myself for the feedback..)
BASKETBALL is big in Indiana.

I got lucky. Mine is more blue than gray. I haven't tried the Windex trick yet since I'm pleased with the color "as is." Thanks, Don (@phoenix blades). :D

..............UNC Tarheels wore out the #1 team, Clemson, in baseball. So it looks like the 'Heels DO have a baseball team!;) :D

Oh yeah, my MAXX is still locking up at the same spot it did when I first got it. Can't say that about some other framelocks out there:eek: And I am NOT talking about the Sebenza, as I am a dedicated Sebbie nutt!!

Its easier to pull for IU now the (K)night has fallen!;)

Hi Folks!
Thanks for all the reports on the CUDA MAXX 5.5
It is an honor to be working with a great company like Camillus.
The Maxx project has turned out great.
Thanks for your kind words.

..................I think its us that needs to be thanking you and Camillus for bringing such a great knife to fruition.:) Your design work and Camillus's attention to the overall detail have presented a definate WINNER:D

Thanks again to Darrel and Will and all the people at Camillus!!:D :D :D

Spark: That is a great photo of the Maxx 5.5 you posted. With that oval background it looks like you are planning an additional design for the BladeForums logo. This knife would be an appropriate choice, with the colorful handle and nice blade shape.

Thanks to all.., neat knife.., and I never heard that Windex solution.., just tried it on an anodized piece and it does make a significant difference....
