I am wicked happy, as my beautiful G-10 Mini Grip arrived! WOW! Pix do not do this justice at all!! This knife is gorgeous!! I LOVE how this feels in the hand, it feels so much better, than the previous generation Mini Grips. The blue & grey, and those stand offs.....it is just a stunning knife. OK, enough talking, here are my pix. Thanks for taking the time to look.




 
Agreed. I have the exact same model. It's quickly become one of my faves, and I mainly have only mid techs nowadays.

Congrats and put it to good use!
 
I have a large version of that same knife on he way. Your pics aren't helping my anticipation antsyness... ;)

I have never had a Griptillian. I know . . . total newb here . . .
so
how are these new ones different in the hand than the old dudes. I ask because I also have the hots for one of the older flat ground Ritters (if I have that right).

Yes, it has the upgraded blade steel; CPM-20CV. It is a great knife. I haven't had a Mini Grip in years, and theses feel so much BETTER in hand. I have had the Ritter Grips, but it has been a long time, and I honestly do not remember what it was like (other than it was a GREAT knife!) Perhaps, someone who has both, CAN chime in and help.
 
I've had my eye on that one, too (the larger version) - it's one of the best looking Grip models to date, IMHO.

Thanks for sharing pictures, it is indeed a fantastic knife! The aesthetics look much more pleasing on the newer iteration, than the plasticky feel on the previous. Still both are fine knives comparing the prices. Enjoy it, and put it to good use. :-)
 
That is about as good as it gets right there for the $....

A true EDC classic improved with much better handle material, and what in my opinion is one of the best knife steels out there.
