OP, plenty of stuff on the X and in the shops of all the Bussekin to keep you busy till you can track down a KZ. The Basic 11, R9, 911, 1311, any variety of Mistresses. I to want a KZ and know that not much can really takes its place. We can still have fun on our hunt.

The hot little number in front of the bottle is not for sale. She's been added to the harem permanently. Her name is Blaire.
 
I remember a few zillas that hit the exchange recently and from what I remember now all of them were sold. Take a look back a couple of pages and start PMing people. Im sure you can find one.
 
The problem with the ones on the exchange lately is they have been too pricey or I was to late. Need to step my game up, I know.
 
While you're waiting for your Zilla, you could pick up a Scrapyard 1311 for $200...if you're a forum member over there. Tremendous price for 13 inches of sr101 with a plush res-c handle...could be the new boss Busse-kin chopper.....mmmm
 
I have sent an email to Garth today asking if he can make make me a zilla .. I really hope he can make it happen..
 
I HAVE BEEN SAVED! :D There is a kz2 on its way over the pond. I will be selling the Cold steel San Mai Kukri to a friend when the kz2 gets here but i was thinking i should do a comparison test of the two.. I already know the handle on the cold steel kukri does not fit my hands (Big hands. wide palms) It would work much better for someone with smaller hands.
i have been chopping wood ,hunting,fishing,trekking and slaugtering all my life so i have been using a lot of different knifes but i have never done a knifetest of two similar blades....(at least in shape) before .. So input on what tests i should put the blades trough is welcome..... i have not found any but If this comparison test has been done before please tell me..

Everyone knows the cold steel can't measure up to the the Busse in any way but by what margin. Cold steel says the san mai kukri is the best chopper in the world at that specific length(12 inch blade.17 total) the kz2 (11.875 inch blade.18.5 total) so i think a test is only fair to do.......

By the way i am not trying to bash Cold Steel. Bashing other brands does contribute to anything...

I love my KZII. Chops great right out of the box, and chops even better if thin the edge out a little. And the handles don't bother me either.
My weighs 33 oz. same as my FFBM, and I'm sure the KZII would out chop my FFBM by a lot :)

You'll be happy with it. I like mine but the handle is a bit odd, it feels best if you have a lower grip, but your hand slides to the middle when chopping. Now I'm not an experienced kuhkri user, it's actually my first one, so someone with more experience could probably appreciate the subtleties a little better.

Wish it had a forward pommel hole so I could tie a D-gaurd on it. I still need to try, it does gets a bit slippy for me. Need to work on my grip strength...
