My Modded BK2

Wow! I'm going to have to do that to my BK7 which is already stripped and put the new wood handles from my BK2 on it. That's quite a polish!

That's friggin awesome. Nice work. :D

I don't think I would want to use it afterward though. But she sure is pretty!

"Sweet Screamin' Jesus".

Sorry if that offends. But that is exactly what I exclaimed outloud when I saw that polish finished product.

I'm still stunned and finding it hard to type.

Wow.

omg, what did you do to that poor thing :)

GOOD LORD my eyeeeessssss!!!!............bright light.....bright light........you can kill a gremlin with that

You know, I'm in the middle of doing something like this (meaning, taking the coating off and kind of polishing, but no where NEAR what you did) with my ZK War Sword. I'm doing it by hand, and it has taken FOREVER to get even the majority of the grind marks off (only having access to 150, 600 and 2000 grit sandpaper likely doesn't help any).

In other words, I'm super impressed with the results of your BK2. I showed it to my wife, and SHE was even impressed (that means it must be AMAZING). It gives me a new standard in terms of shininess to reach at some point. I also now want to invest in a electric sander and some more sandpaper...

I hope it still gets used, that thing should slide through stuff like nobodies business :D.

Thanks very much. I got my 1500, 2000, and 2500 grit sandpaper at NAPA, if you have one nearby. It's the metal polish that really does the trick though. The higher grit sandpaper you go, the less polishing you have to do. I tested with higher grits up to 5000, but after 3000 grit you can't tell the difference.

Thanks for the suggestions man. Last time I went to Autozone and they really didn't have a very good selection, so I'll try NAPA next time :). And I guess I'll have to give some polish a go as well at some point.

Once again, it looks great :).
