My Mom passed away.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss Larry. Please take care of yourself and your family. When I lost my grandfather I found that writing helped me to get through some really rough days. I think you like photography, perhaps you can express yourself that way. From here on out her memory will live through you. I'm sure you'll treat her memory well.

I know that you are a nonbeliever, but I will pray for you and your family anyway. Just think of it as someone expressing affection for you and your family during this difficult time. Please feel free to PM me if you need someone to talk with. I will be happy to listen.

The hardest day for me was the day my mom passed on at 89. A non-smoker,she had COPD & her last months were pain-filled . I sat on my front porch as she was taken out to the mortuary. MY feelings were of great loss & great relief that she suffered no more.

You can replace a mate,or choose your friends but your Mother was an irreplacible part of her life. Cherish her memory.

Larry, I am not much of a poster but I've lost my own parents in the recent past so I connect with you on this. I also appreciate your interest in photography and astronomy and I'd like to thank you for posting your photos. I always enjoy them. The loss of a loved one pushes us into transition...embracing life even without them. Not easy but inevitable. I don't really even know you but I am thinking about the you I know from this place and wishing you peace.
 
I'm so sorry for your loss...I lost my dad in the spring, so I know how you feel. Prayers for you and yours have been sent......:(
