My MS Knives

Couldn't resist posting another photo of John's MS test dagger - an attempt on my part to visually convey more of its character and personality.

Thanks Roger! Yup, John's MS dagger is a pretty inspired piece of work - not that easy to photograph given some of the more subtle detail in the blade.

Here's another shot I had fun with. To do this I had to work a little photoshop magic but my real goal was to better capture the damascus pattern without resorting to macro insets or whatever.

Hope all is well in your world.

You also had another piece with a black wood twist handle which was also sublime ...... any chance of a photo of that one?

Ahhh, the fluted handled dirk. That was the piece that got me in the heart as well.
OK boys, your wish is my command............:D

Thanks, Buddy!

That is just a gorgeous piece. The pic is also fine enough to hold me over till the real thing arrives ;)

I get it now, Jamie - you ordered a similar piece! Excellent move! Would you like a few more images? I'd be glad to e-mail the links.

Buddy,

Sure did :D John had a similar one @ BLADE last year and I couldn't resist requesting one of my own. It was a take-down piece and the interior of the knife was every bit as well finished as the exterior. Superbly engineered and constructed. Quite a bit outside my norm, both in design and price. Just one of those times you say, "what the hell.......". I'll take you up on the pic offer, they look REAL good!

BTW, it was a pleasure meeting you in Atlanta and I wished I could have caught more of Derrick's and your conversation as I am certain I would have learned more than a little from it.
