Thank you, sir!
This is an awesome knife. I really like the overall design. The only thing I need now is a real sheath. I tote it about in a hi=speed low-drag cardboard and tan duct tape custom job.

Nothing wrong with that. Mine is purple duct tape and cardboard, to match the paracord on the handle.;)

There selling Remington sheaths on ebay that fit like there custom made for the Mule.
I picked up one for $10 last week and apart from the fact it says remington on the side its perfect really good quality.

Howdy Rooster ,I have my Mule off visiting Eric at On Scene Tactical for a custom sheath.
I bet you could have him make you one with mine as the template so you don't have to send yours away. I am having 4 Mule harnesses made so I have one for each 52100 and 2 ready for the M4Mule2.

Any word on Mule2 yet?

I've seen a couple on Ebay for $100!

Glad I got one straight from Spyderco +2 :D

All in i paid $180 even more when i add in all the tools etc i bought to make the scales but now i put a handle on it it doesnt seem as expensive a knife as it first did.
Im sure if i bought a Spyderco quality knife with these sort of ergos with blue maple burl scales and 52100 steel i would pay something like that anyway.

My "2nd" Mule cost me $36, and a few inches of tape. It gets used every day and cuts great :D

Id get some proper scales on it.Once you do that its a much better cutter it fills the hand perfect.
Also it stains like no other steel ive used and id imagine it rust real easy too so if i was going to cord wrap it etc id epoxy it or coat the handle in some way as its going to get moist at one point.
